YWCA Greater Rhode Island Wish List

The majority of those served by the YWCA Greater Rhode Island are low-income women and their families. From major funders, individual donations and generous community support, the YWCA is able to provide many of the things our clients need. We routinely are in need of the following items. Below is a “Wish List” of those items that helps the YWCA provide a nurturing, safe place for the women and children that turn to us for help each year.

Women's Needs for the Housing program

Miscellaneous Needs

▪ Plastic covers for Queen and Twin size beds

▪ Batteries (AAA, AA, C and D)

razors, shaving cream, baby oil,
shampoo/conditioner, hair spray
toothpaste, toothbrushes, Vaseline,
hairbrushes/combs, hair ties)

▪ Large plastic storage boxes

▪ First aid supplies

▪Cold/flu medicine for adults, children and infants

▪ Spiral-bound journals

▪ Ear thermometer with extra covers

▪ Coffee (regular and decaf), sugar and creamer

▪ Styrofoam cups

▪Cleaning products such as dish soap, laundry detergent, sprays and soaps for cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen.
