Current programs and services we offer:

Play Plus: The YWCA Greater Rhode Island PLAY PLUS Program is for children ages 3-6. Children explore fun and engaging, age-appropriate skills, including reading and writing, as they interact with their peers in a non-competitive, multi-cultural setting. The Play Plus Program is an excellent foundation to prepare children for the challenges of school. The program offers parents two options: children may attend the program on a half-day schedule from 9:00 am-- 12:00 noon, or spend the day in the program, from 6:30 am -- 6:00 pm. For more information please contact the Childcare & Learning Center Director, Erin Combs at  401-723-3050 or erinc@ywcagri.org.

SACC (School Aged Child Care): The School Aged Childcare Program (SACC) provides much needed care for school-aged children outside of regular school hours, and includes school and summer vacation weeks. The program offers children ages 5-12 a variety of recreational and educational opportunities in a safe and nurturing environment. Age-appropriate activities emphasize self-esteem, the acceptance of responsibility, leadership and an appreciation for diversity. The Program also works to help children develop a sense of responsibility to community, incorporating many activities and trips that help develop dignity and respect for themselves and others, as they explore the world around them. SACC Program hours are 6:30 am--- 6:00 pm. For more information please contact the Childcare & Learning Center Director, Erin Combs at  401-723-3050 or erinc@ywcagri.org.
